No, I think a lot of agents would like to be like him, its just that when one is like a lost puppy playing super sleuth and following him to Mexico, it gets a little annoying.

I think he was alright and he wasn't reying to be Jack. He was good, he wasn't retending.
Don't forget that at the end, he agreed to transfer out of field ops

He looked up to Jack. He wasn't trying to be him at all. If anything, he was him already.

Chase was a goos storyline, but his character just made me annoyed sometimes. I was expecting him to be shot in Mexico when Jack had to prove his trust.

It was one of the greatest scenes. It was Jack's judjement call, the gun had to be empty.
Chase couldn't just die, he came all the way for Jack, something had to happen. There was a reason he was there.
That's how Hollywood works, everything happens for a reason.

It was obvious it had was empty. They wouldn't give him a loaded gun.

I was on the edge of my seat, eyes wide for that scene. I think a yelled when he pulled the trigger. Wasn't Chase looking right at Jack when he pulled the trigger? It was funny when Chase brought it up later.

We are not talking about the roulette scene. We are talking about the part when the Salazars questioned Jack's loyalty by asking him to shoot Chase in the head.
Chase had nothing to do with the roulette earlier in the prison.

I thought those were the best scenes! I loved the suspense of not knowing if the chambers were full or not, or who was gonna get a full one!
