I loved the eccentric aspect of that story, especially when he gives Kim what looks like crap in a bowl and at the end she says "thanks you've been a really good friend". Correct me if I'm wrong but she had only known him for like 1 and a bit hours. For me that solidifies Kim's inhibition to get herself litreally lost in the woods and metaphorically of course. I feel sorry for Jack, if Kim actually acted through reason instead of instinct, she would only be in trouble for like 4 hours instead of 22, so she can play video games whilst waiting at CTU, or have a sleep on a big sofa in CTU, where super hero daddy lives/works/killed his wife by not being there.

i resent that, killed his wife, comment -.- and strongly disagree. Yes, it was a distraction. But no, i highly doubt that she would've gotten out of trouble that fast anyway.
