Jack would say "you did what you had to do" just like when Jack infiltrated the Chinese Embassy to get more information on Marwan's whereabouts (yes, it's not the same thing but kinda is) and then was made responsible for the counsel's death.

Jack had to pay for what he did by going to prison.
Tony is doing the same now

I agree, Tony will come back to redeem himself but I reckon he'll either die or Jack will die in his arms or something like that...

I understand not everyone has watched the finale yet so I'll spoiler my views on it.

I'm not happy or sad... just anxious for the finale.

This season went by so fast... and 8 months to wait for season 8 to start!
