We're all wondering what the story is with Tony's death. Hope fullt this'll help.
According to a TV Guide interview with co-executive producer Manny Coto, "In a sense, it's a reboot — in location and personnel. We're going to be introducing a new stable of characters, along with a couple of old ones. Jack starts next season in a very different place than any season so far. [He's] not living under an alias. He's found a place he thinks he belongs and a job he enjoys doing that doesn't involve the government... We're hewing much closer to real life: tighter, more personal, more difficult for Jack. There will not be a ticking clock on a nuclear device [and] the villain is not a terrorist [but] someone with a supremely dark past who's done something horrific and whose ambition is to regain his stature in the world. There may even be a plot thread that doesn't take place on U.S. soil."

Greetings to all 24 fans!!! This is my first official post:)! Like most of you I can't wait for the 7th season of the best show ever.....I nearly killed myself, for real:), when I heard that it was moved to January 2009...But hey, c'est la vie....So what I decided to do is make my own little 24 marathon...These last week I re-watched seasons 3 & 4, and plan to watch the other seasons too, at least till the two-hour prequel in the Fall...
Anyways what I really can't wait is to see what happend to Tony (like all of you)....While I was watching season 4 yesterday, 2 scenes got imbeded in my mind forever....Episode 13 - When Jack and Paul try to escape the McLen&Forrester mercenaries, and the CTU team tries to find them...Tony gives his opinion and states he knows how Jack thinks......Scene 2 is from episode 15 - when Tony and Audrey talk, and he tells her : " Jack is about the only friend I have!"....Hehe....So know after all the years they've been friends, they are going against each other....This season is going to be EPIC!!!! CAN'T WAIT!!!! |

Welcome to the forum. Im doing a 24 marathon too, re watched season 4, 5. At the mo doing six, then i'll wait till the special edition season one. Once that is done i should be ready for the fall prequel! After comteplating a year without 24, its worse than i thought it would be, posting on forums and talking to other 24 fans should be able to soother the pain. And after seeing those 2 scenes, ur right, this season will be amazing! Hope to cya around. |
