OK so i know there are several versions of the XB360 core, elite, premium, arcade etc, but not all of them allow online play, does anyone know which ones do.? |

There are some points, but the most important is. HD-DVD will left the market within a few months, after that you have to buy a PORTABLE blu-ray player to play the new XB360 games and that will cost around $150 or even more.
Other point: PS3 is much faster, take a game like assassins creed. The XB360 use almost 80% of his processor capacity and a PS3 only 30%. So within a few years XB360 isn't capable to play games on the same quality and speed as a PS3. So there will possibly come a new XBOX within 4 or 5 years. The producers of the PS3 said that the PS3 is Sony's primary console the coming 10 years.
Online gaming with a PS3 is free, for XBOX-Live you have to pay $20 a month or something like that.
This are the reasons I bought a PS3 and not a XB360 |

I don't want this to turn in2 a debate but xbox live is free for silver membership, and 40 a year for gold. Not 20 a month. |

Also i was considering getting a PS3 but i know that they are very unreliable, they break down very easily and the disks get scratched so easily |

true but u gotta watch out if you have you r xbox up on its side because if it falls over the game gets wrecked. It's happened to me once. |

Never happened to me and I've you threat the disks how it should be you don't have any scratches. Just put you're disks after playing back in his box and don't let swing you're disks around. |
