Silent Clock

Everyone know the silent clock at the end of S6? What do you think it represents? Was it for Audrey? Was it in mourning of Jack ever having a personal life again? What do you think?

I always thought it was suppost to make us believe that Jack was considering suicide.

what exactly are the last words jack says to audrey before the silent clock? i simply cannot understand his whisper.

I mentioned it a while back that 6 had a silent clock. It could be for Audrey or it could mean Jack is moving on from his past or something like that.

I think I'm gonna stick with it being a memorial to Jack ever having a normal life.

thanks for your quick reply, but just after kissing audreys forehead, before he stands up and leaves he says someting else like "now is ..." or "now we ...". i still cannot figure it out and it really bugs me not to understand last words of seasons Wink

Yeah, a very dramatic scene indeed. He said Audrey was all he had and he wasn't gonna lose her.

It reps the fact that Jack will never see Audrey again; Though I think we all know he probably will.

Yeah, that storyline is definitley not done yet. Although the fact that she's not in the new cast photo is evidence its not gonna be big this year.

Yeah, that's a good point. I hope we see or hear something of her this season... Or maybe, they'll do something in the TV movie...

That's what I hoped/think will happen, since it's tiding us over until the new season, make it as much of a bridge with Season 6 as possible, and for me that should really include Audrey.

If you cast your mind back to the end of season one, where Jack has found Terri dead, the season ends with a silent clock too.

I think the connotations just symbolise and end of something for Jack

That was a tribute to Terri dying. Same with the other character who die.

I don't think they ever flat-out said that the silent clock was only for people that died; I think it could just be for a very sad or emotional moment in a character's life, or in the show, because (obviously) no one died at the end of season 6.
