THe Deal with Real Time

-In regards to the idea of a 24 movie, the producers were rather candid. They will most likely do it after the final season, otherwise there would be a compromise and they would have to outsource either the show or the film, as they couldn't handle both. As for the format, they said the first hour would be just like a regular movie, but that the real-time format would kick in about half-way through.

That's a really good idea! Using movie time for the first bit, and the real time for the end! That will make it the same intenseness that we all love in 24!! I can't wait for it!

Sounds like a good idea. This way the ending will be more suspenseful.

Wait a minute, i just thought of something.

If this is going to be filmed after the series is over will it continue from where it ended? If it's going to we practically already know the ending. Jack doesn't die.

What do you mean that we know Jack won't die? There is absolutely no way to guarantee that! It could be the end of the movie, everyone is safe, America is safe, the bad guys are dead, Jack and Kim are having wonderful reuniting moment, and Jack could still get killed. In fact, I'm almost certain it's gonna be completely out of the blue and unexpected, because thats what 24 is!

I don't think you understood what i said.

If the movie takes place after all the seasons we know Jack wont die in the seasons since he'll be in the movie.

OH! OMG! Sorry! Aw, now I feel stupid. Yeah, your right, that does make sense. Jack obviously won't die in the show cause then he can't be in the movie. Gotcha.

But what i realized while writing my replies is that it might not take place after the seasons. Or it will but we wont find out until the series is over.

Either way, we know Jack lives.
If the movie is between on of the seasons, then in the movie, Jack won't die.
And if the movie is after the last season, the in that last season, we'll know Jack won't die.

The movie WILL BE AFTER THE SEASONS ARE OVER. I have heard that from the producers directly in interviews. When I can find some evidence to post, I'll post it.

Yeah... kinda sucks I know, but I think the movie would be a good way to wrap up the seasons and the series.

Haha, the 24 movie isn't going to come out for a LONG time... better start mentally preparing for season 7 first Very Happy
