She sucks. I really hope they don't bring her back during S7. The actress who plays her is hotter than hell but the character pisses me off.

I don't really like her character, but I think she was important in season 1. Season 2, she had a completely pointless role, and season 3 her role was semi-important.

I actually agree with you Terri, she is an important part of the show. Jack wouldn't have had reasons to live without her. Any part of her being annoying we should really blame on the writers, and not her.

^^ yeah deffinately, in season 2 the writers knew they had to keep her on the scene for Jacks sake, but it seems they couldnt be bothered to write her a proper storyline lol

That's probably the best summed up explanation for her I have heard. Stupid writers. Maybe they can give her a good and less redundant storyline before the show is up. They at least owe her that.

Finally someone agrees with me lol, they need to bring her back so she can prove shes not as annoying as some people think, and so she can make things right with Jack.

Nothing against the writers, they obviously know what they are doing, but if they had written it right, Kim could have been an extremely powerful character, both to Jack and the audience.

Not if she was still played by Elisha "No Charisma" Cuthbert. Wink

No offence to her, but she can't act. Whatsoever. During her confrontation with Jack in Day 5, it was like Jack was putting in all the effort: Oscar-winning performance, delivered to a wall of nothingness. Elisha just standing there, monotone, saying "I can't do this right now, Dad."

Exactly she was in shock, i would be too lol, i have a feeling it was written that way.

I dont exactly think Elisha is the best actress, but i think she can act i think she did a great job in the phone call scene with Jack in season 2.

last summer i picked up the 24 magazine... read from cover to cover
read an article on kim i completely agree with

the talked to the writers and they said this:
"we thought we had a chance to bring kim back in season 5 and make her badass ... we failed miserably"

i totally agree. they know she's a sucky character, and they've already tried to bring her back. i wouldnt expect to see her in season 7, cause they can't afford another bad storyline to be honest...

I can't see Kim as a secret agent. And why would she want to even do that? She always hated that in Jack and in Chase. She's probably still living with her boyfriend, what's-his-name... Barry? I think that's it.

in a perfect world jack will have to debate whether saving her, or saving literally the entire united states and it's allies.
then we see him save the united states... and he cries... cause of the stress of the day (like day 3)

Then he'd have a breakdown and kill himself and the show would be over! I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be able to live with himself if it came to a decision like that!

Maybe saving the US would result in him doing the action himself and dying in the process. So the Father and Daughter go out together.
