its been so long since i saw season one, but i remember that scene its a great one, if i remember rightly he breaks down because hes about to swap himself for Kim and he thinks hes gonna die right?

Yep. And Teri kept going on about how they just gotta get through the day, then they can all go home and have the fresh start they've been looking for. He just doesn't even know what to say, so he just starts crying.

I cried. It was so unexpected cause we all weren't used to everyone just being offed because the writers want to shock us.

Did you know that the writers did a secondary ending where Terri didn't die and Jack just unties her and hugs her?
But then season 2 came so it became irrelevent

Yeah, they put it in the deleted scenes on the DVD. I prefer the version with her getting killed.

Yeah, the other one is much too happy to be a 24 finale, and besides, then nothing after would make sense.

But I've the end of season 1 was different and Teri still alive. The hole story will be different. I don't care she died, I don't really liked here anyway

That's what I meant when I said that the alternate ending was irrelevant.
It could only be an option if there wouldn't have been a sequel
