In season 1, he doeasn't shoot her, he shoots at her when their car drive towards each other. Then, he catches her and wants to blow her brains but everyone convinces him not to. And then, Tony is in shock cause he and Nina actually had a thing.

He also 'shot' her in season 1 when she was wearing that Jacket that he made her wear so Ira Gaines would think she was dead.

Bullet proof vest is ment to stop bullets. Flak Jacket protects you from all kinds of shreds that are caused by an explosion. A vest id better but at this range, it can't stop a bullet. She didn't have to die but a bullet has to go through.

I also really liked the part when he was hiding in the parking lot when the police were after him, and he was taking to Teri and Kim on his cell and trying to comfort them while Nina tried to get a signal. Then the bad guys would come in and Jack could hear them yelling at Kim and Teri and he was so upset that he was helpless to them! Just classic, great 24!

By the way, in case you forgot, Terri was pregnant when Nina killed her so basically, Nina killed Jack's child too

Yeah, I've notice a lot of people forget that little detail. I love the scene where Teri tells Jack she's pregnant, and he's so stressed he breaks down. Then I remember him saying when Teri asked him if he was alright "I'm sorry honey, it's just been a really, REALLY, long day..."
