No i dont think she quit at all, they just didnt need her anymore, and yeah she had said she wouldnt mind returning, but i just dont think the writers would get her back, unless they can do a much better job of writing her character.

The writers will definitely bring her back before the series is over. If she doesn't reappear it wont feel like it's finished properly. There needs to be an ending to her and Jack.

I think the situation now is an ending enough. She doesn't want anything to do with him. It might change and it might not. But it can certainly stay that way

I heard in an interview she wants to be Jack's partner! I burst out laughing so hard I spilt my drink all over that place. She would get Jack killed so fast if she was in the field as his 'partner'.

Yeah, Jack pinned her to the wall already when she wanted to do the field work in S3. And it was really funny how he was so mad he ran that other guy out of the room first! Lol.

If anything the only reason she'd be in the field with him if something happens to her and Jack comes and helps and he needs Kim to help.

Yeah, Derek from S5. Tony was kind of a field agent at the beginning of 4, he just wasn't officially active. But he was still in the field because he was helping Jack.

Derek was the reason Jack's mission didn't go exactly as planned. He never would have revealed himself for any of the other hostages.
