Season 8I know this is kinda getting a bit beyond the mark here, seeing as how season 7 isnt even completed yet with filming or writing, but does anyone have any ideas where season 8 of 24 might place jack bauer in ? i.e. location, storylines, characters etc? I know keifer sutherland is only contractually obliged to film up to season 8 for fox so maybe season 8 will be the mother of all seasons for us fans regarding the plot and action etc. And if season 8 is to be the very last season of 24, surely the writers must already be pre-empting storylines for the shows final season .....

I think we won't have any idea what'll happen in season 8 until we know whats gonna happen in season 7.

I don't think anyone can predict any part of 8 with knowing what we do for 7.

I though Sutherland was contracted for a ninth season aswell.
If we follow history it's going to be nuclear again like 2,4,6.

Although they were all nuclear, they were all different. a Nuclear Bomb that was impossible to disarm, A nuclear Warhead and 5 nuclear bombs disarmable.

what if jack thinks about what has happend to him in all the other days(seasons) like his wifes death, his daughter hating him,his girlfriend going loopy, his 3 best friends that he could trust are dead,his brother and dad killed(even though they were bad, and c.t.u is still gone so he has no job and he's depressed so he does heroin and dies from to much of it

At this point, not even the writer's know what's happening for S8... half the time those guys don't even know much past the episodes they're filming.

yeah they kinda decide on the spot, apart from major plot twists, like was always gonna be dirty

Even the actors aren't quite sure. For all they know, they could get the next script, only to find out they only need to memorize the first 2 pages. lol.

yeah I saw that thing where theytalk about that too. Like Roger Cross was expecting to be a major season 6 character. Oh well.
