Random Fact of the Week #1, #2A little random fact courtesy of watching episodes with Commentary 
Fact 1: The tattoo on jack's left forearm in Season 3 is actually a real tattoo. In the show you end up seeing Hector have it as well. It's probably a gang type thing. But Kiefer actually has that on his forearm.
That's the random fact for this week
Fact 2: It's a pretty obvious and known one but It'll do until i get better ones
Xander Berkeley who played George Mason met his future wife on set Season 1, Sarah Clarke (Nina Myers). They're now married.

Did he actually get that tat done solely for the reason of not wanting to sit through makeup?
That's what you call commitment! As real as it gets 
I would never have expected him to get one for the purpose of the show. I've never noticed the tattoo before in any other seasons though

They goofed in S2. In one scene he changes his shirt, and you see his tattoos. but then when his being tortured by kingsleys men, you dont see them

I noticed it right away because i always knew kiefer was covered in tattoos (part of what makes him sexy) and I always wondered if they would show them in the show. I noticed them a few scenes at the beginning, but I definitely noticed the lack of them in the other scene.

Except they aren't very consistent when the cover them up and when you can see them, cause you can also see them in the S5 finale, at the end of the ep.
