According to the special features on the season 6 DVD that was going to be a possibility, but they decided that Josh is NOT Jacks son.

Phew... thank goodness for that. I was worried we'd have some kind of rehash of Kim being in danger and them giving us Day 1 again with the word "daughter" replaced with "son". And, obviously, removing references to a "wife" completely.

I think it would be way too predictable for Josh to be Jack's son, I don't think they're going to do anything like that, and I certainly hope they don't.

I was thinking about this character lately as I've been watching Season 5 on TV. Is it just me or does anyone else think he's the worst character in 24 ever?
I can't stand him. I hate how he's a 'rich kid' type person who wears vests and all that crap. Not to mention his hair  I just can't stand the character and hope he doesn't return.

Well my least favorite character in 24 is Sherry Palmer, but Josh Bauer wasn't so great of a character either; not a very strong personality or anything...

Yeah i hope he doesnt return to, season 6 was deffinatly the worst for annoying characters, Sandra, Waled, Josh, Marilyn

Honestly, I didn't mind Marilyn. I don't know why but she was definitely not the most annoying character in the show. I agree with the other above characters as being annoying though.

Their were rumors in season 6 that Philip raped Marylynne so hes really Jacks Brother. Also he had to be one of the most retarded kids on the show. He was far worse then Kim
