Good point, why would they have sasid witness? Maybe its another crime more plot related and Jacks behaviour came up in it. Wow, I could be a fan fiction writer!

Now I look at the trailer again, it looks more like an enquiry to me.
If it is an enquirty that's being held, the title "witness" is correct as there isn't a defendant at an enquiry, only witnesses.
