It might do, but to be honest I think the makers of Twenty-Four are dedicated and passionate about their show, not like these other writers who only do it for the money. So there's hope.

I would've thought TV shows would be written and filmed before they go to air, guess i was wrong.
I hope it doesn't go on for much longer, it could ruin a lot of TV shows.
Apparently it's because they want shares from DVD sales and stuff, that seems fair enough don't you think?

No!
When writers write something, they should have rights over their scripts and ideas, but as soon as that's translated into the director's vision and the actor's performances it becomes theirs, not the writers.
Writers wanting DVD sales is ridiculous. Let's hope this is settled quickly by some key firing of the troublemakers.

You've misunderstood: there aren't troublemakers in the Twenty-Four team, rather in the Union that's pushing for the strikes. Therefore, fire those bastards and everyone else will go back to work, and hopefully this means the writers behind Twenty-Four will go back too.
I don't want any of the genius fired from Jack Bauer's Power Hour, never!
