I've got it: it's brilliant.
I love the way it's not just Jack: you also get to play as Chase, Tony, Michelle and Kim. Also, the main missions are peppered with hacking mini-games which are a bunch of fun, bouncing signals, reconstructing files, uploading, downloading... basically, you get to understand what the devil they're talking about on the show at CTU!
The best feature is the "speak" button, R2. Aim your gun at somebody and press the button and Jack, Tony or whoever will shout something like "CTU! Drop your weapon!" or "Hands in the air, now!", and if you've killed all the enemy's mates or shot him in the leg he'll drop his weapon and allow himself to be arrested. It's a great touch, and good to hear Kiefer screaming like a madman at baddies.
The interrogation mini-game is also a great laugh. You've got the choice of asking soft, medium or tough questions in order to get a victim to spill certain information, based on their spiking heartrate: calm them down if they're panicked and they'll co-operate, or point a gun in their face if they're too calm. There's one genius part where you have to go from soft to tough questions very quickly... it's the funniest interrogation Jack's ever done when he's like "Come on, you can talk to me, I'm your friend... START TALKING, NOW!"
It's excellent, I keep going back and playing it over and over. The plot is brilliant, there's a great terrorist attack on Los Angeles, it fills in some of the blanks between Day 2 and Day 3 and basically is like playing a season of the show. Well worth it.

I've got two left: Chase sneaking through the bio-lab and Jack escaping Fort Lesker. Especially Fort Lesker: it's nigh-on impossible to get a green rating on that one, there are too many bad guys and not enough places to hide!
|
Terri
|
Ive got 5 left lol, inlcuding the two you said, Chase's levels are so hard lol, another one is when Jack goes into Madsons warehouse to get Kim, i cant remember the other two.

Once you've got the stealth part down, that mission you mentioned involving Jack going to Madsen's warehouse to get Kim is dead easy. It's probably my favourite mission of the entire game, because it reminds me of when Jack goes to rescue Heller single-handedly with only a silenced pistol in Day 4...!
If you're stuck on a specific part, let me know and I'll see if I can help.

Terri

Yeah i can get through it pretty easily exept i normally set of two alarms lol, i like the level after when you have to escape with Kim, im good at that one lol.
Thanks i will next time i play

Slimline PS2 consoles (new) have just gone down in price due to the launch of the PlayStation3. Hell, even second-hand they're going dirt-cheap.
It's worth the console, even if you finish it and sell the lot on eBay afterwards.

Yep you can get them for under £40

What are you waiting for!

I never knew it was released. I remember it being discussed as Chris Moyles from Radio 1 was having a Guest Role in the game.
Like all Computer games based on running TV shows I tend to steer clear. Due to it not being the show. I see there is a LOST game coming out shortly (again staying away).

I haven;t played it yet but do want to.
The thing about games made from TV shows is that you know it's going to have a good storyline regardless of gameplay.

You're absolutely right. In fact, out of my entire game collection, I think 24: The Game has the best, most rounded, well-thought-out plot (with, naturally, the most twists).

I don't want to get you all too excited...
...but there are rumours of a sequel, which would be available on PlayStation3, Xbox360 and PC.
The game was only possible because there was a gap to fill between seasons with some unanswered questions. Since then, the season gaps have been filled with background information. Well, now with the ending of Day 6 the way it was, and Day 7 being a fresh start for Jack Bauer, there's room to play.
No solid details as yet, but Jack would be the only playable character this time around. Driving, hacking and interrogations would return alongside the standard third-person running, punching and gunning.
Can't reveal source on this one as it was word-of-mouth, but I'll look into it and post back soon!

This is a very good point...
I will say that I'm a gamer, though, and not just a 24 fan who was curious about videogames and tried it out. Been playing games for years, me. And I can say, unbiased towards the content, that technically it's an accomplished and well-rounded game.
Only a slight lag in framerate on the last mission, but otherwise fine.

Here's something iconic for u.
I have a crazy friend who's in love with 24
He bought a PS2
called up an equally as crazy friend, and beat the game in 24 hours with him.
Then sold the game and the PS2
yea... 24 is that worth it to go thru those troubles.

This game is extremely awesome in all aspects. Especially when you get up close and personal with Madsen's boss. And you have to shoot him to save Kate, without of course shooting Kate.
