Bon Jovi

Any Bon Jovi fans on here???
slade

I am, not a massive one but i have their last two albums and one or two of the classics.
Trapper

I love Bon Jovi i have most his albums
Josephine Marcus

I really like the soundtrack from Young Guns that he did. Also a very good Kiefer movie. Did you know Bon Jovi is in that movie?
Terri

Yeah i like Bon Jovi, glad im not the only one here lol
carsonk

I've only heard some of his music, although from what I heard - I think he is really good. Very Happy
Terri

Im listening to 'Its my life', right now lol
Josephine Marcus

I LOVE the soundtrack he did for Young Guns
Terri

I dont remember hearing it ill have to check it out again
Josephine Marcus

Bon Jovi was in that movie too, although it's hard to catch.
Terri

Yeah i heard he had an uncredited part in it, havent seen him in it though lol
Josephine Marcus

He's in the part in the second one where Billy the Kid shows up to rescue Doc (Kiefer) from the gallows. Bon Jovi is one of the prisoners who gets shot in the crossfire.
Terri

oh right cool, i remember that scene, ive only seen the film once though lol
Josephine Marcus

I watch it so often cause I just LOVE Kiefer in there. He's so cute. I might actually watch it tonight.
Special Agent Mike

I'm a Bon Jovi fan, but of the Bon Jovi from the 80's, not the crap they're making now.
Terri

lol yeah i agree i dont like there new stuff either.
Special Agent Mike

It's too "country." I rather have them rockin' out then being a country band.

Anyway, my favorite songs by them are:

You Give Love a Bad Name
Wanted Dead or Alive
Have A Nice Day
Blaze of Glory
slade

I don't like the country style songs from them either.
Josephine Marcus

The Young Guns Soundtrack is about all I like from them.
1weirdcookie

OMG, where's 5p1k3???? We were kind of having this discussion on our old forum. She went to see them a few weeks back, and it looked amazing. I went to see them in Milton Keynes about 2 years ago and they completely rocked!!!

BJ forever!!! \m/

I used to get into so much trouble at work with my Bon Jovi obsession! The stories I could tell . . . . lol  Very Happy

Also, bad times - I've lost my Young Guns soundtrack  Sad
Special Agent Mike

Well you can tell the stories Very Happy.
1weirdcookie

Well, basically it all stemmed around all the metal heads in our office hating the mighty BJ and me and my mate (who was also the boss) playing their greatest hits almost everyday - we were very annoying - lol!

It all accumulated when I made every one wear I <3 Bon Jovi badges, but one of the blokes refused so we pinned it on the back of his jacket anyway. When he got back from walking around town on his lunch he wasn't too pleased - lol! But it served him right for deleting my itunes library!

Revenge is oh so sweet!!!
Special Agent Mike

Why would he delete your iTunes library?
Josephine Marcus

What?!? How many songs did you lose? I must admit, if someone deleted my iTunes library, I'd be breaking some fingers, and they wouldn't be mine (unless it's from punching them in the face, which has happened.).
slade

I'd be very pissed if i lost my songs. All 3318 of them.

But if you have an iPod with it up to date with your songs you can get a program called iDump and it lets you take the songs from the iPod to the computer.
Josephine Marcus

Winamp does that too, and it's free from the website.
Special Agent Mike

I only have 326 songs, but still I would kill someone if they deleted them all.
Josephine Marcus

2873
Special Agent Mike

Wow, you guys have a ton of music lol.
Josephine Marcus

I still have like 300 songs on a word doc. I still want!
Special Agent Mike

Holy crap!!
Josephine Marcus

Most of them are indie, so they're hard to find.
Special Agent Mike

Indie?
Josephine Marcus

Independent music, usually smaller and hard to find.
1weirdcookie

I wasn't that worried guys, it was only on my work computer, there wasn't a lot on there (it was a really low spec imac, not much memory - and the amount of times it crashed when photoshop and itunes were opened together).

Not to fear, I was always armed with my ipod - 1066 tunes on there, mainly classic 80's rock at that time, Def leppard, Poison, Whitesnake, Van Halen. Just plugged that in instead as back up - they loved that  Twisted Evil

All was well anyway, when he resigned (nothing to do with our escapades - lol) me and my mate photoshopped his head on to Jon Bons (you know the pic from the young guns soundtrack with those skin tight leather trousers?). He saw the funny side - lol!

That is some wonderful stuff.
1weirdcookie

Hell yeah! lol! My 80's rock playlist was sublime.

Of course there was some GNR on there, I am slightly obsessed with Slash too  Very Happy
Special Agent Mike

GNR rock!
slade

Josephine, I might be able to help you with the indy stuff. If you give me a list of bands I'll see what i can do.
Josephine Marcus

Really? Awesome! I'll compile one and get back to you on that!
gswarriors

Bon Jovi is awesome. Livin on a Prayer owns my soul.
1weirdcookie

lol! It owns a lot of souls, but then again so does Bad Medicine, You give Love a Bad name, and don't even get me started on Always (OMG!)  Very Happy
Josephine Marcus

Eh, I like mostly his stuff from the Young Guns Soundtrack
Terri

Yeah i love Always, deff my fave.
1weirdcookie

When I went to see them Jon Bon didn't really have to sing that song, the crowd sang it all word for word - it was genius. Also, a brilliant song to sing when you are drunk - lol - but it kind of kills it slightly  Very Happy
Special Agent Mike

A Bon Jovi concert would be fun to go to. I'm going to a Boston/Styx concert on Tuesday.
Josephine Marcus

Pfft, everything's better when you're drunk!
slade

Anyone else like Runaway?
Josephine Marcus

I like everything off the Young Guns OST
slade

Is Runaway from Young Guns?
Josephine Marcus

Nope.
slade

I assumed your post was related to mine.
Josephine Marcus

Two kick ass songs.

Very Happy
Special Agent Mike

Livin' On a Prayer is an amazing song.
