Who do you think the best villain in all of 24 was?
My vote was split between Saunders and Henderson, but I voted for Saunders, because he was always so sure of himself, just like Jack.
Terri
Ooo this is a hard one, its between Nina, Sanunders and Marwan for me but im going for Nina because i didnt expect it from her and in season 2 and 3 she was just evil.
DSi
Yep Nina was very evil. It was kind of repetitive for her to return in seasons 2 and 3 though, but it did make for a nice plot twist
Terri
I thought it was great they brought her back for those seasons.
Did you know they were originally gonna have Kim kill Nina not Jack but they changed it at the last minute.
DSi
I would've been happy if Kim was the one to kill Nina, it would be like she was avenging her mother, and it would've been very fitting. But all the same, she was killed by a Bauer
Terri
Yeah i would have liked to see Kim shoot her but i guess they thought people would rather see Jack get the revenge.
DSi
The worst thing with Nina was when Jack kissed her, it seemed like he was completely betraying Teri.
Terri
i know lol and Kim had just said some thing like 'My dad couldnt even pretendto work with her' and they cut to Jack and Nina kissing lol
DSi
That really got me mad
Terri
What Kim or them kissing?
DSi
Them kissing.
Terri
yeah i know but you could tell Jack REALLY didnt want to be doing that
DSi
Yeah, but still he did it, and she did kill his wife.
Terri
lol yeah but he had to, for his country lol
DSi
Yep, just like he does everything for his country.
Almeida
I'm glad it was Jack who killed Nina. Besides Kim probably would of shot her own foot.
PreviouslyOn24
Habib Marwan. He escaped Jack and CTU five times: nobody else has ever done that!
Yes, Charles Logan is my preferred character, but I don't think he's a villian. He was trying to do what was best for his country: he did it the wrong way, but his heart was in the right place.
Penny
Myers. Pure evil!
Josephine Marcus
I love Nina because if she hadn't turned out so evil, she may have actually been my favourite good character. But now she's my favourite evil one! Especially with the whole being good but actually being evil but no one knew until the end!
slade
Nina all the way. She actually got the job done. No one else has killed a Bauer, bar the old man.
Plus, she was a mole so she was even better.
whycantkimdie?
I would have voted Salazaars but Hector wasnt really that evil unlike Ramon so I just voted for Nina.
Josephine Marcus
Yeah, I'm pretty sure Nina is the most evil villain to ever be on 24 and I challenge them to come up with someone more evil.
whycantkimdie?
oooo I think they may
Josephine Marcus
Yeah, that's the scary part.
Stykerwolf
Nina and Saunders, Nina always had that phsychopath smile that made her the best female villan evar
Josephine Marcus
"I like to do things in phases. You should know that by now."
I love how Saunders is so casual about everything, even when it's an incredible serious thing.
slade
Saunders sophistication made him great. Along with how casual her was. That's the best type of villains, ones who show no emotion.
I liked Ramone as well. The way he spoke and acted was great.
Henderson was also great. Past personal issues with Jack and a twisted vision made him awesome to watch.
But you can't go past Nina The beauty and lack of conscious makes great TV.
whycantkimdie?
Villains that have a past with Jack are always the best. Nina, Henderson, Ramon, Victor Drazen and Saunders.
Josephine Marcus
If Henderson having a past made him a great villain, just think how great of a villain Tony will make!
slade
Henderson had a twisted view as well. We don't know Tony's yet. Maybe personal revenge for Michelle against Jack and the government. I doubt it's anything like getting a prisoner released.
Josephine Marcus
I'm sure it will be good whatever the reason. I'm just pissed that we have to wait so damn long to find out for sure...
slade
Me too, very pissed.
Sandervs
I've chosen the Salazars Brothers. Especially Ramon, he's the opposite from Jack.
The scene where he is killing his brother is a good one.
Hector was a little arrogant, I really liked his personality, but Ramon's better
Stykerwolf
"Saunders sophistication made him great. Along with how casual her was. That's the best type of villains, ones who show no emotion."
they only made him have emotions becuase they had to tie the season up in like 6 episodes.
also henderson had a past with bauer, in the book vanishing point.
but by count, fayed is the worst of them all, 13000 deaths man :O
slade
Henderson was the one who recruited Jack, was his boss and was brought down by Jack.
Josephine Marcus
Saunders is mentioned in Vanishing Point? Can't wait to get to that part! I'm just reading that book right now! And Henderson is Jack's boss in that book too.
Sandervs
I think I will read the books too.
Josephine Marcus
Yeah, they're really good. My favourite so far has been Trojan Horse. Milo gets to be a field agent in it and fails miserably.
Sandervs
There are only three books translated in Dutch.
I could read the English books, but I think it's a little difficult to me.
Stykerwolf

um hes not
you must have misunderstood, henderson is in vanishing point
Josephine Marcus
Oh, yeah! And hes the best in Chaos theory!
Vulturous
Nina was fantastic... but right now I'm voting for Charles Logan, excellent performance by Gregory Itzin and hey, in the end, the President of the United States as a villian?
Josephine Marcus
Yeah, that was pretty cool. The president would, in any other show, be the last person to be doing bad things. But not 24!
Sandervs
24 is always been different
whycantkimdie?
very few villains stay in the plot for consecuative seasons, and Nina did 3!
Josephine Marcus
I think Nina and Logan were the most complex characters. Saunders and Henderson were pretty cool too. Overall though, I think Henderson is my favourite. The storylines he got in the novels, and the whole story of how he was brought down from being the head of CTU was pretty cool
whycantkimdie?
Nina is the biggest villian on 24 but Ramon is by far my favorite
Sandervs
I liked the Salazars too and I like Stephen Saunders
whycantkimdie?
I love how calm Stephen Saunders is.
cp123
i said logan!
logan was the biggest like... holy shit! hes a bad guy? character.
and he went from paranoid to actually good at what he was doing by being the bad guy, but of course, jack owned him in the end
whycantkimdie?
Gotta luv Novicks smile when he gets taken down
Josephine Marcus
Logan was such a beady-eyed, squirrelly bugger.
And I agree, Sanders was really funny being so calm and casual over the most important and tense things.
whycantkimdie?
Lets not forget Kingsley. He was just a plain badass.
Josephine Marcus
Yeah, and his goonies who tortured Jack! That was intense!
Sandervs
I saw that part this morning, my little brother was watching it.
Josephine Marcus
I hide behind a pillow when that part is one. Lol
Vulturous
Killing Jack Bauer doesn't make him dead, it just makes him angry.
Ask Kingsley's thugs
Josephine Marcus
Yeah! Good point! lol!
Sandervs
Hehe
Almeida
Jack has died a few times.
whycantkimdie?
Vulturous wrote:

Same With Cheng Zhi.
Almeida
Very true!
Josephine Marcus
Cheng never 'killed' him. But he did make him fake his own death... That one's debatable I suppose. Lol. Only in 24...
Vulturous
He did die when he "faked" his death. His heart stopped so that Dale Spalding (that SS agent) could take his pulse to confirm his "death"... Hence the shot of epinephrine to revive him.
Chloe: He really looks dead...
Michelle: That was the idea, Chloe
Tony: C'mon Jack, damn it!
Josephine Marcus
Yeah, but I mean 'they' didn't kill him. his death was a result of everything hitting the fan, but they never directly killed him. lol, anyways...
whycantkimdie?
What did jack do to give him the apearance of being dead? Did he cut himself or something?
Josephine Marcus
Yeah... I always wondered about that. I mean, if they shot him, wouldn't they be expecting to see a bullet wound? I don't know...
whycantkimdie?
I think jack wanted to give the appearance of suicide, but I'm not sure how.
Josephine Marcus
Suicide? No. I don't think so. The only time Jack's been wanting to kill himself was when he volunteered to take the Cessna down in S2. Mason knew what Jack's true intentions of taking the plane were. Now, of course Jack wanted to save LA, but for him it was also a convenient excuse to kill himself and go out as a hero. He needed to escape from his personal pain of losing Teri and Kim hating him. The other thing in S4 was needed to escape from the corrupt government.
PrisonBreak2408
i don't know who to pick for the best villian
whycantkimdie?
It was close for me between Salazaars and Nina but Hector wasn't really that bad. If Ramon and Hector were seperate I would have gone with Ramon.
DSi
Nina's such a bitch, which makes her so hateable, and such a good villian. Henderson is very good too, because of his close past with Jack, and how Jack was recruited into CTU by Henderson.
whycantkimdie?
All Jack's past Villains are the best. Victor Drazen, Saunders, Salazaars, Nina, Zhi and Henderson.
Josephine Marcus
Thinking about it now, Jack almost always has someone out with a vendetta against him.
whycantkimdie?
Yeah and some are still alive. Mandy, Zhi, TONY!
Sandervs
Saunders is still alive too, If I'm right
whycantkimdie?
Erm... you're not. When Gael's wife came to CTU, she found out that it was Saunders who killed Gael so she stole a gun and shot him.
Josephine Marcus
Mandy never really had a vendetta against Jack, she just tried to kill him when he got in the way
Stykerwolf
i didnt like mandy, she spoke wierd, as if she was retarded, and she wasnt much of a villain, just a female assassin that played in like 7 episodes
Josephine Marcus
A lot of guys I know thought she was really sexy in a sadistic kinda way
Vulturous
Josephine Marcus wrote:

That's totally true, I wouldn't mind having more Mandy sexiness in oncoming seasons .
Josephine Marcus
Yeah, and maybe someone can actually kill her before she gets away again
kazine
I liked Nina when she was good. XD.
Jack kisses her later on? (I've only watched s1 and 2). Wow I can't wait to see why that comes about XD. DON'T SPOIL IT K
Josephine Marcus
I told you! Watch what you're reading! Before you get given away something really major! Lol!
kazine
XD. Dun' worry. I'm not that big on spoilers. I already know he kills Nina and all that jazz. xD
Josephine Marcus
Okay. Lol. Look forward to discussing more with you!
kazine
Please tell me season 3+ are better than season 2. I mean, I enjoyed the season and such, just season 1 had me wanting to watch more at the end of each episode (hence staying up til 6am) but season 2 not so much!
Josephine Marcus
Well, you'll find S3 is a lot different. It is also full of insane plot twists. Just because you think you understand something, don't let your guard down!!
whycantkimdie?
My Fav Seasons go 5,3,2,6,4,1
Josephine Marcus
1 last? Honestly, i don't think i have a least fave season
Special Agent Mike
Vladimir Bierko just because his name is so fun to say.
Josephine Marcus
All Russian names are funny to say. They're also impossible to say properly if you're not actually Russian.
Special Agent Mike
Well I'm from Eastern Europe so I have no problem saying it .
Broken Infinity
Thats the spirit mike. I totally vote Phillip Bauer just cus I love the way he disappears at random. He's a dick, but he makes a good villain.
Special Agent Mike
Yeah true, I wonder where he went to anyway.
David_Palmer
My vote is definitely Nina. She was sooo evil, but I still like her
Josephine Marcus
Special Agent Mike wrote:

Phillip?
Spoiler:
He got blown up on the oil rig I'm pretty sure.
slade
Something i stumbled across.
Quote:
Why Graem Bauer is the Greatest 24 Villain of All Time
Yeah, Even Better Than Nina!
24 fans, meet the greatest villain of all time. Forget Victor Drazen. Forget President Logan. Even forget Nina Meyers. The greatest villain in 24 history has arrived and he's Jack Bauer's brother. Graem "Gray" Bauer played with perfect evilness by Paul McCrane is the most no-holds barred, deceitful, murderous villain yet to challenge our hero, Jack. He helped facilitate a nuke attack and just ordered the deaths of Jack and their father. He's the greatest villain of all time. But how long will he last.
The deceit factor. There have been many great villain in 24 history. Some of them are obvious villains, like the Drazens of Season 1. Except for when Alexi posed as a nice guy and seduced one of President Palmer's aides (and paid for it ultimately...), the Drazens were always upfront about wanting to, well, kill Jack Bauer and then-Senator Palmer. On the other hand, Nina Meyers (spoiler alert) raised herself to the heights of infamy by betraying Jack secretly since the beginning of the Day 1 situation. A mole at CTU! Deceit just makes everything worse. And then take President Logan - he's the president of the U.S.A and he had a role in killing Palmer?! Man, talk about double-crossing. He made a nice place for himself in the pantheon of 24 villains by abusing his power in the most secret and devious of ways.
But now we learn that the man who was pulling his strings is Jack's brother! Talk about deceit. True, Graem Bauer only outright lied to his brother a few times so far, but think about all he's done behind the scenes while posing as a somewhat legit arms dealer: he was behind Logan's machinations last year and was going to have Jack killed but instead sent Jack over to the Chinese. He's responsible for Jack's 22 months of torture - not to mention the dropping of the nuke. Well, I guess it wasn't dropped so much as triggered, but still... It remains to be seen if Abu Fayed is Graeme's colleague, or just a client, but either way, Graeme has made history climbing to the pinnacle of backstabbing.
kane
It's a for way tie for my vote.
It's bewten these guys.
Nina Myers, The Salazer Brothers, Cheng Zhi and Philip Bauer.
I havn't vote yet, becuse I have to wacht the season angain to brack the tie.
Then I will come back and vote.
Josephine Marcus
Sanders, Nina or Henderson... Henderson is cool in the books because he's still a good guy.
