I believe that towards the end of the season Tony is going to refuse to turn himself in for what he did with Emerson, and that'll lead to a conflict with Jack.

I wonder how long Tony is going to be dark for, I kind of expected him to be back next episode folowing his own leads.
It sounds like now that was just bs and theres something deeper going on with him. Since it seems like the main bad guys are going to be americans, maybe they'll have a similar goal as logan in season 5, and it wont be entirely impossible for Tony to really be involved with them. I mean just killing americans senselessly with the CIP device he couldnt back, but maybe the real threat has a plot that he can get behind.
Should be interesting to see what hes been up to for the past few hours. Unless hes just running away with no real plot and he'll get unwillingly dragged back in somehow.

I agree, he probably won't turn himself in and that wprobably will conflict with Jack. But you also got to think that right now he is kidnapped by the terrorists and we don't know yet if he will survive through this or get killed right then.

yeah, seems as if he has some deeper motivation here, tho i don't yet think it involves killing scores of people, especially since he stopped the launch. keep thinking, keep posting, people!

I have had a couple of days to think, so here's my position...
Tony clearly has his own motiviations. Whether that be his own personal agenda, the agenda of another person or group, or the possibility that he is in fact 'undercover' and he's trying to take down the whole thing.
Personally, I think its a mixture of the first and second. It seems that 3 years with Emerson has led him to become understandably a major part in these groups. I also think he's now going to use the power he has in these groups to reach his own goals, whether that be taking them down, or revenge, or something different.
I've heard a lot of complaints about the total brushing aside of Tony's former character, but I think it's quite logical. The man has suffered a major trauma. He ends up in a terrorist cell for 3 years, no doubt being exposed to and convinced of the 'legitimacy' of these group's aims.
The 'old Tony' is still there - he contacted Bill and Chloe. I think, however, that he's more conflicted than that. It looks to me as if he wants to succeed in what he is doing, then ultimately pay the price for it. Almost a revenge mission, knowing someone like Jack will finish him off in the end.
It's very very interesting. I see him as a parallel to Jack - they've lost similar things. Jack chooses the moral route whereas Tony has completely cracked. Not all of us can be Jack Bauer, so I think Tony has finally gone over the edge.
So excited!

I agree with that ... but in the most recent episode they make it look like Tony killed Larry, first thing I'm thinking is "is Larry dead?" They didn't give him a silent clock which you'd think they would give him. Second, the guy who shot Larry knew who Tony was because Tony just rasied his hand and the guy gave him the nuclear weapon. What the hell is Tony up to D:

The only thing you can predict about any given Broadway season is it'll be unpredictable. Jeff Lunden looks back at this year's hits and misses and predicts which shows will go home with the top...
