Yep you're right that's exactly what happens.
The doctor said Janet was going to wake up soon, and then she would see her "father," and his cover would be blown. |

Someone (I think it was Ira Gaines) told Jack to open the trunk of a car, and there was a body in the trunk, later discovered to be Janet's father by CTU. |
