Repeat?

Is there a repeated theme from seasons 1 and 2 in season 6?

In season 1, Alexis Draasen was sleeping with Elizabeth Nash, and Draasen was stealing information from her without him knowing. In season 6, Mark Bishop is sleeping with Lisa Miller, and he is stealing information from her without her knowing.

In season 2, Paula was unconscious after the CTU bombing, and George Mason and Tony Almeida needed to get the decryption key from her. The doctor performed a risky procedure to awake her, they got the key, and then she died. In season 6, CTU needs to get the location of Cheng Zhi out of Audrey, and they were considering giving her drugs to get her out of her catatonic state, which could risk killing her. Jack rescues her, and gets the information by consoling her.

Repeated theme? Possibly...

That just goes to show, how the writers got kinda lazy with season 6 Rolling Eyes

Hopefully season 7 will be a lot better!

Yeah they got very lazy with S6. Something had to happen. Oh well, it's over now. I just want them to bring back Bill, Chloe, Jack and then start fresh in S7. I expect great things. As do we all.

They say that they are going to bring in a bunch of old characters from the previous seasons in season 7!

That would be awesome. Some characters I would like to see in some form:

Morris
Doyle
Mandy
Logan (that is if he isn't dead)
Novick
Mandy

However, I would like to see a more focused story on Jack Bill and Chloe but hey, if they can bring back S5 quality (minus killing beloved characters) I would be all for it.

I'm sure Morris will be back, and probably Doyle. As for Mandy, they've already used her too much (s1,s2,s4), so I doubt that she'll be in season 7, but it's always possible. I'd like to see Logan come back too, if he isn't dead, and they have to bring Mike Novick back, he's awesome!

The Wikipedia article says that Bill and Chloe are both definitely coming back, which is awesome! Read the Wikipedia article, it has a lot of info there.

It says Logan was carted away in an ambulance, bleeding profusely, and it says nothing about him dying, so he probably is alive.

I agree, Season 6 is a repeat of previous seasons. Too predictable & boring.

Agreed. That's why I didn't like season 6 that much.

It wasn't bad - but there was so much potential. The producers blew it - they could of bought 24 back to basics. They finally admitted they didn't have a plotline for 5 or 6 - which was apparent.

I can see not really having a plot for season 6, because they just went back to the usual "crazy terrorist with nukes" scenario, but I really liked season 5, it was very unpredictable and surprising!

Lol that's true, it would've been better that way than with what they did.

If you haven't noticed, every even season (2, 4 and 6) have involved nukes, and every odd season hasn't.

You guys are missing one important and awesome character, Pierce!

He's one of the only two characters to be in every season.
