Hi there members,

I'm new to the whole forum thing, and I am quite a big fan of 24. The reason I am kinda annoyed about Kim is she indirectly killed her own mother. I mean she was 15, and one minute she's playing chess, the next she's meeting up with 2 high school morons who couldn't find their a** with both hands. I thought the portrayal of the character was a wee bitty over the top and demeening to peoples intellectual being. Chase could've done better with a one-legged shemale with Tourette's and body odour.

That's my views on this topic, sorry if I was too up front, I'm like that in real life.

Well, you'll find a lot of members here annoyed with Kim, but as per your first point, Drazen's company would have found Teri and Kim somehow anyway, since the two of them were their leverage on Jack. I mean, Nina was their inside person as far as keeping tabs on the Bauer family. Cool

Yeah im pretty sure they would have had a back up plan to abduct Kim they wouldnt have rested there entire plan on Kim sneaking out to a party.

Hehe...I love Kim. Mainly because she's a babeb, but I also really enjoy her stories.
Her story in season 1 was great, and the season would've been weaker without her.

And calling her stupid is a bit harsh, I mean, as you pointed out, she's 16. She's entitled to go out and party. It's not her fault she got into the 'mess'.

kim is very sexy lol but that is not the point. Kim is very young and nieve and does not really grow upuntil she find chase edmunds in seaon 3!

Kim was a pain in the ass for me, and nothing more. In all the seasons she was a part of. Especially the first two. The 'damsel in distress...owait no bang killed you' thing just wasn't a good play whatsoever. Sure it gave Jack something else to take his mind off teh terroristthreat and split his attention, but it's just so cliche to have his daughter just happen to be kidnapped by the same terrorists he's working against.

Well I dont think its such a cliche that the terrorist happened to kidnap Kim... They had the whole revenge plot against Jack and the Palmers for what happened in the past...

LOL... yeah, she sure has been in lots of tight spots over the years... But 24 won't be the same for me without Kim... She plays an important part in keeping Jack "sane". He knows, while she is still alive, he still has something to live for!!

I am not a big fan of Kim. She is pretty annoying. I wished Gary would have hurt her more in season 2 in that filler story. lol

Kim was GREAT in all season, especially season 2, where she rescued that little girl. Fantastic. I never understood what people have against Kim is season 2. Okay, she gets in trouble, but who wouldn't if you're trying to save a little girl. Kim is the perfect daughter for Jack. She's got balls and showed it again in season 7 where she saved it all!

Well she was kinda stupid in the beginning of the first season but she got a grip later on... It's not her fault that her mother ended up dead... Nina would have gotten to her anyway...

Kim was the impetuous rebelious teenager. She was one of the reasons the web became so tangled. She was just playing the character the way it was written.

Sherry bothered the heck out of me and I was so glad to see the senator dump her at the end. She was just a power hungry winch trying to ride someone's coattails to get her into the white house. But, that was the way the script was written for her.

An action packed soap opera.

She was quite the go-getter sometimes though, like when she had to convince Dan about breaking out of the Gaines hideout...her badass lines in prison and i loved it when she said "damn it" in season 7 in the airport scene...
