Well, to be honest, it depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for:
 Long Gameplay (100+ hours): Then i would suggest an RPG such as one of the Final Fantasy games, pokemon diamond or pearl (I know it sounds dumb, but they are surprisingly interesting), or Zelda Phantom Hourglass
Arcade / classic Games: Contra 4!!! Amazing... And of course New Super mario bros. A Good Star Wars Lego wouldnt hurt either.
The kind you have to think: Brain Age 1 and 2. Again they sound dumb, but they are pretty neat.
