We've almost got 22,000 posts, and I want to do something big for the forum when we reach the big 24,000. But I've got no ideas, so I need everyone on the forum to help me out
What do you guys think we should do once we hit 24,000 posts? Be creative!
I'm trying to think .. but one , little idea, for celebration, would be whoever got the 24,000th post, , maybe have a userbar ready for their signature; awarding them with geting the 24,000th pots, and linking it to their post when clicked.
I'm trying to think of something, though, that would include the whole forum, as well.

That would be a good idea... but how would we know who gets the 24,000th post?

well, how i figured the 20,000 posts, was when it happened, i did two things. which you may not want to do ... but would give you an ecaxt count.
it's tricky ... you got to see the forum's total post when it happens, then click the most recent posts link, and count backwards til you subtract the number over 24,000 , til you get to the 24,000 post. like if it's 24,013 ... just count back 13 ... but, to get an exact count, you may have to fix the forum option to cancel posting for that brief period of time.
only takes abbout a minute or two.
as i said, you may not want to do that ... but that's how i figured it up on my forum.
